Lamplight

In short: we don't collect any of your information. None.

Lamplight does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.

• No account. Lamplight has no sign-up, sign-in, or user profile.
• No analytics or tracking. The app contains no analytics SDK, crash-reporting service, advertising SDK, or any other third-party tracking library.
• No network access for your data. The Bible text, translations, and commentaries are bundled with the app. Reading, searching, bookmarking, and highlighting all happen entirely on your device.

The following preferences are saved only on your device, and are never transmitted anywhere:

• Your bookmarked verses
• Your highlighted verses and their colors
• Your appearance setting (Light, Dark, or Follow Device)
• Your text-size preference
• Your last-read chapter

Deleting the app deletes this data. We have no copy of it.

Lamplight embeds no third-party SDKs. The only outside parties involved at all are Apple (or Google, if Lamplight ships on Android) through the App Store itself, and the operating system's own built-in text-to-speech engine used for the "Listen" feature, which runs entirely on-device.

If you choose to support Lamplight through an optional in-app donation, that payment is processed entirely by Apple's own In-App Purchase system. Lamplight never sees or stores your payment information.

Lamplight collects no personal information from anyone, including children. The app displays public-domain Bible text and commentary and has no chat, messaging, or user-generated content.
